September Back to Square one Mystery

Well here is the next step completed. Still looking Gooood. Thanks again Vicki and Judy for this great looking mystery. And I always thought I wanted to make a log cabin quilt . So I guess I am getting a bit of a taste of it.

Clue 7 Back to Square ONE - finished!

There they are - All 24 6 1/2" little log cabins. I can't wait till the next step since it really starts to come together nicely on Judy's picture. This mystery has been a GREAT experience for both me and my 85 year old mom (Oleta).

Lots and lots of little boxes (but no ticky tacky). Can't wait to sew these on the center.

Here is my progress to date. Pretty sneaky , Judy, to break up the square in square over 2 months so we didn't realize we had to make 40 in all. It is looking great though. Sorry my extra bright sunlight and pressing don't do it justice.
